Visual artist (B. 1983), Minsk, Belarus. She’s currently working on long-term projects in documentary and conceptual photography also experimenting with video art and multimedia projects.

Her main field of interest is daily routine and the idea of building connections: links between ourselves and the decisions we make, between history and ways to build the present, between the body and its reaction to the event. Thereby art is considered to be a process of building bridges which help to move freely. However this is also a medium to destroy these links: to make them visible by naming, to fragment them into pieces and recognize their insignificance.

Alexandra is an editor in chief and founder of IMBALANCE , an online magazine on Belarusian contemporary photography. Member of LЁD collective.
